Pine Grove Management works closely with founders of innovative healthcare companies, providing seed capital and sage advice. We typically invest $50,000 to $500,000 in early stage companies, but have tapped our angel network for financing up to $3 million. We are active investors, usually serving on the board of directors, assisting with business development and occasionally providing interim management support. We help our portfolio companies obtain successful exits -- as of 2018, nine of our portfolio companies have sold generating over $130 million of value to founders and shareholders. We primarily work with companies that serve the health insurance industry. Our companies provide an array of data analysis, consulting, technology, compliance, marketing and market research solutions to many of the largest health insurers and exchanges.
