Redeemer began in 2008 as a church plant out of Colonial Baptist in Cary, North Carolina. A group of families living in Fuquay-Varina was committed to reaching their community with a message of hope through the gospel so they to set out to see what God would do. And in 2018, Redeemer celebrated 10 years of God’s faithfulness. We live by three simple values: Gospel, Community and Mission. Gospel We seek to be a community characterized by gospel-centrality and biblical-sufficiency. Because we are freed by Christ to seek God’s glory in all things, we evaluate every aspect of our ministry through the lens of the gospel and seek to allow the Word to shape every aspect of our lives. Community We seek to be a community characterized by discipleship-relationships and congregational–involvement. Because we believe relationships within the church exist to build one another up, we commit to one another through church membership and encourage one another to faithfully follow Jesus in all that he has called us to do. Mission We seek to be a community characterized by incarnational-ministry and church-planting. Because we believe the church is to be engaged in God’s mission, we actively pray for opportunities, we actively proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, and we actively train faithful leaders to strengthen or plant other churches in our city, our region, and around the world.
