Kimberly Sholl Web Design
www.kimberlyshollwebdesign.comMy name is Kimberly Sholl and I am a web designer/developer hybrid based out of Pittsburgh, PA. That’s a fancy way of saying I create and build great things on the web. After graduating with a degree in Design and Visual Communications, I worked for a company that provided online educational materials for homeschoolers. Eager to jump feet first into my new career, my projects consisted of creative site designs, unique icon and image creation, and in-depth web development coding. In that role, I was able to grow into a top-level front-end developer and designer. As my career progressed, I began working for a corporate web design and development firm. My role and knowledge base expanded to include responsive design and development, HTML5, and CSS3 functionality. I continued to expand my skills in WordPress, JQuery, and UX/UI design. With several years experience under my belt, I have become a multi-faceted designer/developer who takes on any challenge and thrives in hard work. And now, as a freelance designer/developer, one of the strongest beliefs I have in business is to be a valuable asset to any project I work on. No matter how small or large, I ensure each project is treated with importance. Every client is a top client, every project is completed in a timely manner, and I push to meet or exceed all expectations. In conclusion, I love the career I’ve chosen. There is no greater satisfaction than doing something you love everyday. It ceases to be work when you can have fun and enjoy what you do. As Confucius said, “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I not only believe this statement, I live it everyday.
