Contego Tech Solutions Inc. was formed in 2006 as a merger of two IT Support companies each with over 10 years of history. Since that time Contego has grown to a team of over 20. We complement our team with some part-time and contracted specialists for unique requirements, large projects or work outside Alberta when the need arises. In 2018, Contego expanded again when it merged with SSL Solutions Inc., a full service ERP solutions provider that was founded in 2005 and sold and supported Acumatica, MS Dynamics Suite and Deltek ERP solutions across North America. For many years Contego and SSL had worked collaboratively at numerous clients and the resulting synergy from solving client needs just made sense to join forces and expand our solution set that we can offer to our clients. Our clients benefit when we provide both ERP and IT solutions because problems are solved quickly and efficiently with little disruption and finger pointing. Our customer base is diverse, spanning many industries. Being in Calgary we have a significant number of oilfield related clients including petroleum producers, geology & geophysics exploration, oilfield services, supply and manufacturing. These companies have a high value mobile workforce as well as regulatory compliance mandates to follow; supporting these users challenges us to offer leading edge infrastructure and support while maintaining best practices for security and reliability. Other industries we support include retail, service, restaurant, media, travel, accounting, education, property management, HVAC and electrical contractors.
