Colonnades Literary and Art Journal is an annual literary publication from Elon University. Colonnades features strong student works of fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and art. Colonnades began as an organization in 1937. After 83 years of excellence, 70 unique journals have been printed and distributed to Elon University students and the greater Elon and Burlington, North Carolina communities. Colonnades has consistently received praise for its professional delivery, fine creative works, and contribution to a dialogue beyond the university.
