The Association of European Open Air Museums (AEOM) is an association of leaders and staff of open air museums in Europe, established in 1966 in the Open Air Museum of Bokrijk as a professional circle of colleagues and friends. The objectives of the AEOM are the exchange of scientific, technical, practical and organisational experience relative to open air museums, and the promotion of the activities of open air museums in general. The AEOM is affiliated to ICOM and collaborates with people and institutions worldwide.
