The Iowa Pork Industry Center was established in 1994 as a coordinated effort of the colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. The center focuses efforts across departments and partners with other agencies and commercial entities to better serve the industry's educational and informational needs through ISU Extension and Outreach. Through IPIC, Iowa producers receive accurate and timely information to aid in making their operations more efficient and profitable.
