With more than 38 years of experience between them, Lee Garratt and Sam Alderson know the construction industry from the inside, having learned their trade working for some of the largest contractors and consultants in the country on projects with values between £1m and £50m. In various roles – including Quantity Surveying and Project Management - they’ve worked on some of the country’s most demanding building projects for both Local Authorities and developers in the residential, educational, retail, aviation, hospitality, rail and leisure sectors to name a few. This experience - from cost planning, feasibility studies and contract administration through to procurement, sub-contracting and project management - has left Lee and Sam in a unique position when it comes to understanding both the needs of clients and the pressures of specifying, costing and delivering a demanding build or refurbishment.
