Patient comfort meets innovation. With the Esophageal String Test®, physicians can easily and routinely monitor patients who suffer from eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), without endoscopy or biopsy. The test utilizes the EnteroTracker®, a small capsule that collects fluid/mucus (liquid biopsy) from the upper gastrointestinal tract of adults or pediatric patients. The sample is analyzed using a lab-developed test, and results are provided back to the physician. The Esophageal String Test® is available for sale and use in the USA but requires a prescription.
