Vancouver TSS Rovers

www.tss.ca

The Vancouver TSS Rovers was first formed in 2017 after TSS purchased the rights to a PDL franchise from the Washington Crossfire. The PDL (Premier Development League) is an under 23 men's league with more than 70 teams from across North America. The PDL has been the launching pad for numerous professional soccer players over the years. The league has since been rebranded as USL League Two. ROVERS MEN The Rovers men's team had their inaugural season in the spring of 2017 with much success. Playing their home games out of Vancouver's iconic Swangard Stadium, the team regularly enjoyed crowds of over 800 as they threw their support behind these young men. The 2019 season will be their third as they take on familiar rivals such as Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders, and Victoria Highlanders. ROVERS WOMEN The spring of 2018 saw the arrival of the TSS FC Rovers women's team. The women competed in the Northwest Conference of the WPSL, the largest women's league in the world. The conference had the women coming up against teams from Washington and Oregon such as Sounders Women, Westside Timbers, THUSC Diamonds, and ISC Gunners. The Rovers had a great inaugural season and a formidable roster with a number of players from the national team program, as well as TSS FC alumni players. 2019 proves to be another great season.
