The harbor of Šibenik was established in 1905 as a result of the joint vision and need of the Šibenik region and state administration. The harbor earned its reputation by servicing the state navy and developed from a small workshop with scarce material and technical resources into a modern ship repair base in the perfectly sheltered Bay of Šibenik. The shipyard celebrates the hundred-year anniversary of successful operations with its new owners, the Prgin Group, bringing new enthusiasm and prosperity both to the shipyard and the city of Šibenik. Like a ship, guided by the captain’s steady hand, defying any weather, holding its course and successfully reaching its destination, NCP has advanced day after day and season after season to its goal: - uncompromising quality of refit, charter, marina and sailing school services - complemented by a first class tourist offer. After taking over the repair shipyard together with its most valuable asset - experienced, capable and committed workers hardened in the demanding industry of naval shipbuilding - NCP has refitted and maintained some of the world’s largest and most luxurious yachts with ease. This is made possible by our production plant covering an area of 110.000 square meters, including 45,000 square meters in sheds and workshops, 48 cranes with up to 20 tons lifting capacity, a 900 ton synchrolift and a 1.500-ton floating dock. Thanks to the 2.000 square meter shed, work is continued even under extreme weather conditions.
