FAOC also provides ECG, Nerve Conduction testing for peripheral nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, Digital Foot Pressure Analysis to allow the fabrication of customized orthoses to treat foot conditions like flat feet. Also offered are Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections, for chronic tendon problems - the only practice in Trinidad and Tobago currently doing this. The PRP is also used as adjunctive treatment for the management of chronic fractures and non unions where it speeds healing and helps to ensure a positive outcome for patients. In our commitment to enhancing cutting edge practices, our team regularly attends international and regional training courses and conferences to upgrade our knowledge and skills to keep up with the fast paced advancements being made globally in our discipline. Further, we collaborate with other senior specialists in other sub-specialty areas to allow us to offer the best service to our patients in the effort to maximize their return to normal functioning.
