FAOC also provides ECG, Nerve Conduction testing for peripheral nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, Digital Foot Pressure Analysis to allow the fabrication of customized orthoses to treat foot conditions like flat feet. Also offered are Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections, for chronic tendon problems - the only practice in Trinidad and Tobago currently doing this. The PRP is also used as adjunctive treatment for the management of chronic fractures and non unions where it speeds healing and helps to ensure a positive outcome for patients.
