WearerTech

www.wearertech.com

Since 1978, we've developed footwear that takes the pressure off hardworking feet and improves the lives of hard-working chefs and kitchen workers – people just like you. We’ve helped over six million people breeze through long working days on their feet. Our shoes help our customers become more productive, and to experience less pain and discomfort in their back, knees, legs and feet. WearerTech shoes are put through their paces in real-life kitchens – with all the heat, hygiene and hazards you’re used to. The feedback we get from chefs helps us understand the pressures you’re under from being on your feet day in, day out – and make our shoes better as a result. We work closely with the experts at the University of Salford to combine biomechanics (the way your body works) with material science (the way stuff works). Since 2015, scientists at the university’s health sciences faculty and the knee, ankle and foot biomechanics research department have been helping us to create shoes with a difference. The knowledge, biomechanical data and advanced ergonomics we gain from working with them helps us understand how the shoes you wear make a difference to your working day.
