The Foreign Languages Institute “Zetta Bellou” commenced its operation on September 1971 in Athens, Greece. It was named after its enthusiastic owner and Director. “Zetta Bellou” entered the field of foreign language education dynamically by applying high-quality educational standards. It presented remarkable progress and growth by gaining the trust of parents and students in the comprehensive teaching methods applied and by excelling in the results achieved by its students in British and American certifications provided by high-ranking universities such as Cambridge and Michigan. “Zetta Bellou” offers high-quality primary foreign language education in the English, French, German and Italian languages as well as Information Technology (IT) courses leading to recognised diplomas. “Zetta Bellou” provides certificates, which are fully recognized by the Hellenic Ministry of Education. Over time, students (starting at the age of 7 or 8) increased to over 600 per annum. The extensive knowledge and experience that was obtained through its long operation supports and assures the students’ achievements in examinations at all educational levels. In 2017, the Foreign Languages and Computing Institute “Zetta Bellou” expanded its activities with the acquisition of “ItaLingua”, a business that has been operating successfully since 1990. The new business focuses exclusively on academic studies in Italy (undergraduate and postgraduate), in Italian- and in English-speaking universities. This way, our qualified academics and specialized professionals provide the necessary knowledge and all resources required so that prospective students are prepared in Athens before initiating their academic studies in Italy. Amongst others, the available Foundation (University Access) courses teach the Italian Language and the terminology required by the respective university schools, such as Medicine, Law, Architecture, etc.
