Smart Istanbul 5.0 was established by Prof. Muhammed Sahin, President of MEF University in 2017. The center will focus on five major topics: Settlement, Housing and Environment, Health and Safety, Education and Employment and Culture, Art and Science. The objective of the center is to carry out scientific research to design a new generation smart city Istanbul, which is expected to offer a sustainable and prosperous future to its residents, and to share the results of this research with the public and to develop strategies for their implementation in coordination with relevant public institutions and organizations, private sector representatives and non-governmental organizations.
