More than 30 Plymouth-area parents, educators and local community members who are passionate about education have joined together to create the Branch Line School Development Team. We are developing a preK-8 learning community that serves all students from a truly child-centered approach. Program development has centered around one question: What is best for children? We will: *open a school that children wake up in the morning excited to attend *dispel the notion that school must always be boring, tedious or frustrating *create a fresh paradigm in which students feel free to explore and discover, and in which they develop a true and lifelong joy of learning. The tuition-free elementary charter program is anticipated to open in 2013. Program highlights include project-based multi-age learning, a year-round academic calendar, robust technology education, and service to the community.
