This Nurse Practitioner role compliments and supports the GP's and Practice Nurses. The Nurse Practitioner provides care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment, through to evaluation and if appropriate prescribing. The Nurse Practitioner role is useful for the management of your sudden illness requiring a same day appointment. If at any time the Nurse Practitioner feels you need to be assessed by a GP this will be arranged.
