About CKA - History The Canadian Kinesiology Alliance/Alliance Canadienne de Kinésiologie (CKA/ ACK) steering committee was formed in 1995. Over the following six years, this steering committee gained support from provincial associations for the development of a national alliance. The CKA/ ACK was federally incorporated in 2001 as a not-for-profit corporation.
