The consortium of the University of Chemical Technology in Prague and the Impact Hub was selected to perform EIT Food Hub's role for the period 2021 – 2023. EIT Food is a pan-European consortium that focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation in the food sector. The EIT Food community members are world-class players in the international food domain: over 50 partners from leading businesses, research centers, and universities across 13 countries. To reach out to the countries not participating in the consortium, where innovation capacity is moderate or modest, EIT has set up Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS). The RIS is implemented via formalized collaboration with a local entity functioning as an EIT Hub, an ‘interaction point’ between EIT Food and local actors, which helps disseminate the knowledge and know-how of the EIT Community.
