The Economic Justice Conclave, EJCON, is India’s 2nd and Maharashtra’s 1st ever student-led economic justice conclave. Founded in 2019, it provides a platform for young minds to meaningfully engage in solving major socio economic issues faced by our generation, through an economic lens. It also holds a National Policy Challenge where the brightest minds compete to form policies for India, best of which is submitted to the government and public policy institutions. Kaching 2022 in its12th edition- is an exhilarating mix of Events ranging from a Mock Stock Exchange to Journalism, Advertising events to virtual Business simulations, Crisis management to board games; and even a Youth Conference this year. We have successfully hosted more than 50 expert speakers, 250 colleges, and 26,850 participants in our last 2 editions. Prolific speakers include Padma Bhushan awardee and Member of the house of Lords, UK Meghnad Desai, cabinet ministers, academicians, and corporate leaders. In addition to our own volunteering efforts, we have also collaborated with NGOs (across the country?) and worked for various social causes including mental health, education, inequality, senior citizen welfare and sustainability.
