Kick Start is a social enterprise initiative of the PAYCE Foundation, established in 2014 to provide training and employment opportunities for unemployed youth, with a specific focus on hospitality - events, catering and food trailers. Kick Start partners with other developers, builders, industry stakeholders and community organisations to deliver positive social outcomes, by providing employment and training to young people from social housing and disadvantaged backgrounds. Kick Start Group trainees participate in a six month accredited training program, obtaining a Certificate III in hospitality and offers career coaching and support to obtaining stable employment or enter further education.
