Scottish Business UK (SBUK) is an independent, non-party voice for business leaders who want to see Scotland thrive economically as part of the United Kingdom. It seeks to make a positive case for that future and believes strongly that the campaign to break up the UK offers unacceptable disruption for business and public services, especially as Scotland tries to rebound from the challenges created by the Covid-19 pandemic. As an organisation representing business leaders across a wide range of sectors and geographical areas in Scotland, SBUK is sending a clear signal to the Scottish Government that we do not welcome the additional uncertainty created by the continued threat of a second referendum on breaking up the United Kingdom. If a further referendum is announced, SBUK stands ready to garner the support of company leaders to secure the best interests of business across Scotland. SBUK was founded by serial entrepreneur Robert Kilgour, has a diverse Advisory Council of leading names from the business community across Scotland and an expanding business and industry support.
