The Department of Public Safety has three departments dedicated to campus safety. The Public Safety Emergency Communications Center (PSECC) is a 911 dispatch and monitoring center. University Security is a uniformed security department that focuses on safety escorts and providing security services. The University of Minnesota Police Department is a state licensed police department. Our department is dedicated to being responsive and connected with our campus community.
