Oxco started in the most quintessential Kiwi way in 1973 with Brian Murray setting up in his home garage, partnering with what was then Bayer Chemicals to become the predominant supplier of Oxides to the manufacturing, concrete and general industry throughout New Zealand under the company name Oxide Distributing Co. Ltd. Fast-forward 48 years to 2022, Oxide Distributing Co. underwent a brand refresh under the ownership of Tom McGaveston and Huxford French, launching the brand OXCO keeping the same founding values of bring life to concrete but under a refreshed look and feel. A review of many different areas of the business saw significant improvements in packaging, launching the OXBOX range which makes dosing Oxide a quick and mess free experience for concrete plants and bringing cutting edge blending and mixing technology to New Zealand allowing fast and accurate dosing to be undertook without the chance of human error. As a 100% owned, New Zealand company we are as dedicated to bring life to concrete from the top of the country to the bottom!
