TODAY'S CHICAGO WOMAN Today's Chicago Woman magazine, founded in 1982, is the only magazine for and about professional women in Chicago. Each issue includes features on careers, finances, health, beauty and fitness, food and wine, philanthropic and cultural events, and profiles of top personalities in Chicago. TCW regularly features contributions from the likes of WBDC co-founder Hedy Ratner, The TrendSight Group president Marti Barletta, financial expert Kay Kamin and more. TCW targets professional women who make decisions about where their personal and corporate budgets are spent. For over 25 years, professional women have relied on TCW to be their buying guide around the city. It has become clear that TCW is the only publication in Chicago that effectively influences this market. TODAY'S CHICAGO WOMAN FOUNDATION The Today’s Chicago Woman Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charity, was founded in 1989. This all-volunteer organization provides funding and educational programs to women and their children through grants to area organizations. Ideally, these grants are distributed to organizations with budgets under $500,000, who provide services and/or shelter to homeless or battered women; counseling to victims of rape/incest; programs to address substance abuse and AIDS awareness.
