BrightCap Business Solutions was founded in 2015 by Kenn Kerper, a Business Software Applications veteran with over 15 years experience developing and supporting business apps. Beginning his career as an accountant, Kenn quickly developed a reputation as an elite problem-solver, technology enthusiast, and quick-learner. This skill-set earned him an invitation to support Oracle EBS at McDonald’s Corporate Headquarters, despite never having seen nor used Oracle before in his career. As a highly-customized and ever-evolving EBS Environment, there was no formal documentation available for many functions, and Kenn was expected to learn quickly, on his own, the intricacies of this highly involved and complex business application. Kenn’s resourcefulness and adaptability quickly established him as a subject-matter-expert on many of the essential and constantly-changing modules of Oracle EBS within the McDonald’s Environment. Kenn continued his career as Director of Information Systems at e-Cycle, a technology recycling firm in Columbus, OH, supporting all of their business applications. Again, hired on ability and reputation alone, Kenn was tasked with administration responsibilities for, among others, NetSuite, Salesforce, and Oracle CRM, having never before been exposed to those applications. Kenn also served as the CEO of CellMACs, Inc., an e-commerce retailer he founded in 2011. As CEO of CellMACs, Kenn designed and oversaw the development of an in-house e-Commerce solution to manage inventory, track sales, and synchronize product availability among some of the largest online marketplaces in the world, including Amazon, eBay, Sears, Rakuten, Best Buy, and Newegg.
