What was once a sleepy little lock shop in Fremont, Oh, has evolved into a one stop security source serving all of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. This Veteran Owned Business, was purchased by Roger Kuns in May of 2010 after serving his country for seven years as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Kuns Northcoast Security is a complete locksmith with over 2200 keys in stock. In addition, we install and monitor security and fire alarm systems, high definition camera systems, and access control. In July of 2017, Kuns Northcoast Security expanded our business by purchasing one of our competitors in the Toledo area, Homeguard Security. We have expanded our footprint as a single source security provider with physical locations in Fremont and now in Perrysburg. Kuns Northcoast Security serves residential, commercial, and industrial customers with big city solutions and small-town service. In 1996, Northcoast Security Center began to expand outside of just a lockshop and quickly added products and services for our residential and commercial customers fulfilling their need for a “single source” security provider. With the help of our wholesalers and manufacturers, including Johnson Controls, GE Security Systems, Alarm.com, and UNV, we have access to the best quality and most cost-effective products. Our staff is comprised of old and new. We have over 80 years of experience on staff but also have young team members learning the trades and helping to incorporate the new technologies into improving our services for our customers. Our team members regularly participate in training classes to keep current on the latest product developments and enhance our skills. Our customer base is diverse. We deal to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. We do projects as small as working on a residential door lock, to helping Marathon Petroleum install an intricate camera system along their pipeline
