First Tin Plc
www.firsttin.comFirst Tin is a tin exploration and development group focussed on tin and associated metals in OECD countries. Tin production is currently concentrated in non OECD countries with a relatively high supply risk and ASM sees a niche for new production in stable, low risk, western countries. To this end it is currently focussed in the Free State of Saxony, Germany and the county of Cornwall, UK - two large historical tin producers that have seen relatively low levels of exploration in recent years. In addition to tin, ASM is actively evaluating potential of the critical metal indium, in particular at its Tellerhäuser project in Saxony. Recent work has resulted in the estimation and reporting of an indium resource compliant with 2012 JORC guidelines. This is partially coincident with the tin resource and is believed to be the largest and highest grade indium resource reported under 2012 JORC guidelines in the world. ASM is thus well poised to be a major player in two critical metals, tin and indium, in secure OECD countries.
