Fixed income is our passion. We've dedicated our careers to fixed income research and investment. Our research finds that fixed income portfolios are often suboptimal, having exposure to both credit and interest rates at times when it is best to have exposure to only one of these risk factors. JRX Asset Agility, our proprietary fixed income asset allocation model, was developed with this challenge in mind. Unlike most fixed income asset allocation strategies, which are based on the assumption that fixed income portfolios should always have exposure to some mix of credit and interest rates, JRX Asset Agility analyzes credit and interest rates separately and is prepared to recommend exiting one or the other entirely when market conditions warrant it, a process we call Agile Investing. JRX Asset Agility is more flexible in the face of volatile markets than traditional fixed income investment strategies, which is a source of persistent outperformance. We build our portfolios around the characteristics JRX Asset Agility recommends, allowing them to be customized to a given market environment.
