The OP59 Project has been formed to fund the world premiere of the Requiem Mass, Opus59, by Douglas Weiland, to be performed by the Academy of St. Martin on the Field. Our goal is to hold the premiere in August 2021, to closely match the 20th anniversary of the Twin Towers attacks in New York, but the work is intended to become a recognised part of the classical repertoire and thus be an enduring musical legacy in memoriam of all victims of terror worldwide.
