Honest Medical Weight Loss provide an in-home weight management program delivered by a team of highly-trained medical professionals. Our team provides clients with a full spectrum of services, combining treatment from medical, nutritional, behavioral, and fitness providers into one integrated program that addresses both the client and their family in the home environment. By employing a multidisciplinary team, our clinicians are able to address and focus on the three main components of weight loss: Nutritional Education, Behavioral Modification and Stress Management. The educational piece is delivered by obesity-trained Registered Dietitians, who work directly with our clients to identify foods they like, creating individualized meal plans that work within each client’s unique schedule and lifestyle. The Dietitians accompany clients to the grocery store, providing them with new recipe ideas and healthy food alternatives. Supplementing this educational work, Behavioral Health Educators (Clinical Psychologists) provide the most fundamental piece of our program: a focus on stress management and behavioral modification. Using a clinically-proven approach, the BHEs work closely with each client, learning about their stress triggers and previous weight loss experiences. Thus, the BHEs are able to help each patient identify ways in which they may be using food as a coping mechanism. In addition, obesity-trained Exercise Physiologists work synergistically with the BHEs to provide safe, fun and customized exercise programs that are designed as a means to help manage stress while promoting improved cardiorespiratory fitness. The in-home model enables our team to create, within the home, an environment that is conducive to success by implementing healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
