Royal Zambian Airlines is a scheduled air carrier that was officially incorporated in May 2020. It functions as a department within Royal Air Charters (established in July of 2007), which itself functions as Royal Zambian Airlines parent company. Royal Zambian Airlines currently operates one twin jet engine Embraer 145 LR, which is supported by a 30-seater twin-turboprop Embraer 120 ER. The airline has a world class management team in its employ, all of whom boast years of experience in Zambia’s aviation industry. The Embraer 145 provides ‘best-in-class’, medium-range jet capability for fifty (50) passengers, in order to meet both the technical and consumer requirements of arriving at most regional destinations within one hour. Our current flight schedule covers the route from Lusaka to Johannesburg. Royal Zambian Airlines’ Maintenance Program is backed by the Royal Air Charters Base Maintenance Organization, which is in turn backed by the Aviation Maintenance Organization (AMO) National Airways Corporation of Lanseria, South Africa.
