Mission: To create spaces of learning and support for children by collaborating with individuals, institutions and initiatives. Programs: "आनंदघर" Anandghar (Home of Happiness) Idea: The idea is to provide basic formal & informal education and skills to child waste pickers as well as out-of-school children and make them capable of joining main stream schools to cope with the learning process in the school. It is achieved through Informal Learning Center which will act as a bridge between the children who had never went to school or those who dropped out of schools and the main stream schools. Activities and programmes are designed carefully to make the expected impact. Through Anandghar we focus on these following fundamentals 1. Academic skills 2. Life skills 3. School Enrolment & sustenance 4. Hygiene & Physical well-being: 5. Emotional and mental well-being among children Current Status: The project was started on 2nd January 2014 in Tambapura area of Jalgaon. Currently we are running 4 community centers in Jalgaon, Chopada & Bhusawal catering to 250+ children regularly. Anandghar Community Collectives: One year unique support / incubation program for grass-root organizations working with children from economically disadvantaged background to share our learnings & resources to achieve desirable results effectively and efficiently. Programmatic Support includes- 3 Fully-funded residential workshops 2 Field visits to give hands on support 4 theme based webinars Monthly Catchup calls.
