The Trust is the proud owner of New Zealand’s prestigious Alliance Française French Film Festival, which screens in over ten cities nationwide from February to April each year. Following more than a six-fold increase in attendance figures since 2012, the festival is one of the largest and fastest growing French film festivals outside France. The FFAT is chaired by Mr John Martins. The rest of the Trust is made up of a series of experienced business people and advocates for French culture in New Zealand. The FFAT remains Australasia’s leading expert in French cinema and is proud to bring the best French films to New Zealand screens every year.
