Training and Placement Cell of IIIT Ranchi that is functioning under the comprises of committed professors, T&P Officers and dynamic students coordinators who continuously strive for better placements by every means possible. Our students comprises of top 2% of JEE Mains Rank Holder who hold sheer potential for satisfying cut throat high technological needs of the industry. The Training and Placement Cell, IIIT RANCHI facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the institute besides collaborating with leading organisations and institutes in setting up of Internships and Training programs of students. The office liaises with various industrial establishments, corporate houses etc which conduct campus interviews and select graduates from all disciplines. The Training and Placement Cell provides the infrastructural facilities to conduct Group discussion, interviews and tests besides catering other logistics. The industry which approaches the institute come under the purview of Core Engineering Industries. IT & IT enabled services. Consultancy firms. Finance companies. Management organisation. R&D laboratories. The placement session runs through the course of the year from last week of July to June. The committee evolves students of under graduate engineering streams and professors. A the committee evolves a broad policy framework every year besides a set of rules which are inviolable. Students members are closely co-opted in Implementing these policy decisions.
