Virtual Group was established in 1992 and has 20 years experience. It was the first “virtual organisation” for consultants in New Zealand and to our knowledge in the world. It was launched in a pin-stripped tent in Frank Kitts Park as a symbol of pin-stripped quality, total flexibility and canvass-thin overheads. Virtual Group’s motto is: “Wisdom Without Walls.” In part this refers to our ‘virtual’ structure but the ‘wisdom’ part refers to the background and length of business experience of all our consultants who have all been carefully selected from people who are already at the top of their speciality. Unlike many other consultants, all Virtual Group consultants have a background in business rather than consulting. We know what it is like to manage and work in large organisations; doing rather than advising, achieving solutions that work rather than theory. Our only business focus is organisational change including strategy, culture, measurement, technology and process design to support the change.
