Medicare EMR, the brainchild of Garth van Zyl, has been in operation since 2006, and continues to provide the community of Franschhoek with an effective 24hr emergency medical response & stabilisation service. He was forced initially to fund the project on his own after tragically losing his partner in a freak car accident and is at present running this on his own. Our core focus is the development and upliftment of the surrounding community. This is achieved through the provision of essential first response and stabilisation of anybody requiring our assistance. Via this angle of approach one gets into the grass roots of the community and begin to get the opportunities to empower, inspire, develop and adjust mindsets. With strategic partnerships with various local NGO's, we are capable of finding more ways to assist and uplift.
