Nurse PACT is a non-profit organization created to provide mentorship for individuals pursuing careers in nursing or healthcare related professions Our Mission: To provide professional and personal development -- through a supportive and guided mentorship program with experienced professionals working in healthcare. The specific goals of the program include but are not limited: To provide leadership and coaching to future nurses, novice nurses and other healthcare professions in their personal and professional career growth. To foster leadership and inspire diversity in nursing and organizational leadership roles. To provide educational scholarship resources to assist in pursuit of career goals. To facilitate communication and encourage ongoing lifelong pacts among professionals and their peers. Nurse PACT is a community based, non-profit organization created to provide mentorship to nursing students and novice nurses outside of the clinical setting. Our mentorship program focuses on the promotion of academic, professional and personal growth by matching nursing students or novice nurses with experienced professionals. We accept applications on a yearly basis (Aug - Nov). Our program runs for a full calendar year, (Jan 1 - Dec 31). and the mentorship application deadline is November 15th. The mentors we provide are currently licensed and practicing registered nurses working within multiple specialities and of diverse backgrounds.
