Lifeline Nepal Current Projects 1. In October 2013, USAID Nepal awarded Health for Life (H4L) Logistics to Lifeline Nepal. Health for Life Logistics is a five year program with an estimated funding of $2.2 million for Ministry of Health and Population’s (MOHP) existing logistics system to ensure sustained availability of essential and auxiliary health commodities in facilities and community settings. 1. Rapid Results Institute (RRI) subcontracted Lifeline Nepal to translate RRI guidelines, provide logistics support during the training and monitor activities in the field. World Bank Nepal awarded to RRI to implement Golden Thousand Days (Sunaula Hazaar Din) applying RRI method. 3. Micro-nutrient Initiative (MI) awarded the Strengthening the Program on Zinc and ORS in Treatment for Childhood Diarrhea to Lifeline Nepal. The project aims to improve the use Zinc and ORS during diarrhea with children 2-59 months. This program will be implemented in 21 district of Nepal in 2014. 4. Supporting to develop reproductive health commodities security strategy.
