After graduating (Academie Artemis, 2015) Frank Martens decided to choose another name in his work as a creative: Frank August. August is a brand and graphic designer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Master in creating concepts and a passion for print. 'I drew lots and lots of eights when I was little. Infinity. I guess. Eyes were super fascinating to draw as well. When I had finished one impressive iris with a crazy amount of thin stripes that served as eyelashes, I often gave up and couldn't be bothered to draw the other one. But damn, time and time again I was extremely proud of those little illustrations.' A hint of What goes around... Comes around with a graphic circle tattooed behind his ear.
