IFBB - Institut für Betriebliche Bildung
www.ifbb.networkThe IFBB is concerned with continuing education in companies under the conditions of the digital transformation. As a cooperation partner, the IFBB participates in particular in projects in which direct contact with stakeholders in corporate continuing education is important. The institute was founded in 2020 as a missing link to close a gap that is still quite wide: between the concrete challenges for corporate learning faced by corporate stakeholders and the bird's eye view of science and regulatory policy. We started in 2021 as a cooperation partner in two projects related to "in-company learning": in the INVITE program (https://lnkd.in/gY9kC7-N) and in the "Future Centers" program (https://lnkd.in/ggfKyU5w). IFBB is a spin-off of Siepmann Media, a specialized publisher (eLearning Journal, eLearning BENCHMARKING study, yearbook "Knowledge Management and eLearning") and organizer of a large conference series (eLearning SUMMIT Tour). For more than 15 years, Siepmann Media has accompanied and documented the digital transformation of learning in companies and organizations, reaching more than 35,000 stakeholders in the DACH region. The IFBB thus has access to a large community of practice of continuing education professionals, IT professionals, HR developers, eLearning managers, and project responsible continuing education professionals. They come from companies in all industries and of all sizes, from SMEs to mid-sized companies to large corporations. In close exchange with this "network of practice", the IFBB reflects as a think tank on the current challenges and relevant future developments in the field of digital corporate training. This work is supported by a top-class scientific advisory board. (See https://www.elearning-journal.com/ifbb/)
