Having an effective presence on Social Media is essential for local business to survive and grow. 82% of new business comes through Google. That's why my 1st priority is to rank your local business in the top three of Google Search and/or rank your business in Google Neighbourhood. That way, when someone searches for a business or service like yours, it will be your details that pops up on the screen in front of them. Following that, I look to build your presence on social media, in the main Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. These are all evolving platforms a local business ignores at its peril. The recent explosion of Instagram Stories into the fray is a case in point. Their rules and requirements are also subject to change as users find new ways to use and abuse them; keeping on top of them is crucial to continued success.
