Paxman & Paxman Barristers and Solicitors is a legal practice dealing exclusively in criminal law. Paxman & Paxman was founded in 2010 by husband and wife team Oliver and Lana Paxman. Oliver Paxman graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Oliver has worked exclusively in crime during his legal career. He worked as a criminal defence lawyer (barrister and solicitor) for the busiest criminal defence practice in Western Australia. In 2007 in he joined the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions working as a federal prosecutor. Lana Paxman graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) from the University of Western Sydney. She has extensive experience in criminal law as a prosecutor for both the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and the State Solicitors Office. Paxman & Paxman offers legal representation in all areas of criminal law as well as restraining orders. We also offer an instructing solicitor service which gives our clients access to some of finest legal mind at the independent bar. We also accept reverse briefs from barristers in need of an instructing solicitor. Our office is conveniently located in International House which is next door to the Central Law Courts.
