The Tempel Lipizzans began in 1958 when Tempel and Esther Smith brought 20 Lipizzan horses to the United States with the intent to spread knowledge of classical riding within the US. Today we are the largest privately owned Lipizzan herd in the world and the only place where these horses are bred, trained, and perform all on the same property. We offer Matinee and Evening Performances, Behind-the-Scenes Tours, rental space for special events, private performances, horse sales, and training.
