Hija de tu Madre is a Los Angeles based Latina fashion brand that celebrates the beauty of being Latina. Hija de tu Madre’s goal is to make fashion more welcoming of women of all shapes, colors, and sizes. Hija de tu Madre caters to Latinas who are proud of where they come from, and who aren’t afraid to wear their culture on their sleeve, or back! Patty Delgado founded Hija de tu Madre in 2016 with only $500, and an idea to make fashion more inclusive, more colorful, and more Latina. Delgado started her business with just one prouduct, the notorious #VirgencitaJacket. The inspiration behind the Virgencita Jacket, was to create something that was a perfect composite of her identity: Mexican and American. There is nothing more Mexican than La Virgen de Guadalupe, and nothing more American in fashion than denim. Hija de tu Madre continues to create statement jackets and accessories that celebrate Latino identity and culture.
