IPMC CNRS - University Nice Sophia Antipolis
ipmc.cnrs.frFounded in 1989 in the Science Park of Sophia Antipolis (French Riviera), IPMC is a joint lab between the CNRS and the University Nice Sophia Antipolis. The international research teams take advantage of state-of-the-art equipment and high level of expertise in molecular & cellular biology, imaging, cytometry, electrophysiology, functional genomics an integrative biology. IPMC regularly recruits talented new members. WITHIN AN EFFECTIVE NETWORK IPMC is strongly committed to the promotion of biology in the Nice - Sophia Antipolis area, in collaboration with dedicated organizations, foundations, academic and industrial teams (through industrial contracts, competitiveness clusters, or innovative spin-offs). IPMC investigators contribute to the better understanding of several human diseases, which is mandatory for the development of new treatments. INTERNATIONAL IMPACT IPMC scientists publish their work in top peer-reviewed international journals; they have filed more than 150 patents; they collaborate with many international academic teams; they are recipients of prestigious fundings (ERC, EMBO, FP7, FEDER…).
