The Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT'IS) is an independent, nonprofit research organization located in Switzerland, closely associated with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. Since its inception in 1999, the Foundation has earned a reputation worldwide for excellence in the following research fields: - Electromagnetics sensor technologies; - Computational electromagnetics in complex environments; - Computational life sciences applied to complex anatomies; - Novel and optimized processes and devices for diagnostics, therapy, and treatment planning; - Cutting-edge instrumentation and methodologies for exposure assessments, dosimetry, and safety compliance evaluations; - State-of-the-art electromagnetic exposure systems for biomedical research. IT'IS also applies its knowhow and infrastructure to provide customized research solutions to the wireless and medical device industries, to academic and national institutions, as well as to governments and regulatory bodies.
