The MFWA is a regional independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Accra. It was founded in 1997 to defend and promote the rights and freedom of the media and of expression. Our Vision: A West Africa where all media and all persons can and will express themselves freely. Our mission: To promote,defend,protect, consolidate and expand the fundamental freedom of expression of all persons.
