Family Health America, LC (FHA) began operations in Wichita, KS in 1996 as a specialty health HMO. Since that time, FHA has expanded to become the parent of three different companies: EMPOWERChiro, a national chiropractic network; EMPOWER, an FSA, HRA and HSA administrator; and Preferred Mental Health Management, a behavioral health company which provides network access plus Crisis Intervention Programs for employers.
