Electrosonic SA KZN
www.electrosonic.co.zaIn 1995 Electrosonic SA was awarded the project to supply, install and commission the entire audiovisual and stage lighting facilities of the new International Conference Centre in Durban. This enormous challenge put Electrosonic’s design and project management abilities to the test, a mission that was accomplished with flying colours. As a result the Kwa-Zulu Natal branch was opened and Electrosonic moved from infancy to teenager. The KZN Branch is managed by Gerrie Coetzee and Electrosonic SA KZN offers exactly the same services and products as Electrosonic SA. As the product portfolio grew and so did the staff to stay on top of the ever increasing complexity of projects. The decision was taken to slowly reduce and eventually cease direct involvement in installations: quite a few well qualified dealers and installers all over South Africa had recognised the opportunity for localised design, installation and support of audiovisual and lighting systems, for the benefit of the end-user, be it corporate, state or private. Electrosonic could, therefore, concentrate on supply, support and service.
